Surrey Hills Cheese and Wine Tasting at Greyfriars
What to expect at our Surrey Hills Cheese and Wine Tasting:
Join us at our Cellar Door for the second of a series of special tastings we will be holding at Greyfriars in our Local Artisan Saturday Series.
We will be tasting our award-winning sparkling wines (including the 2015 vintage of IWC Trophy-Winning Sparkling Rose Reserve) alongside the superb cheeses of Surrey's newest cheesemaker, Cheese On The Wey.
Cheese On The Wey is a dream journey come true for John who has always had a passion for cheese but started his cheesemaking journey in 2017. Having officially launched earlier this year, John has turned The Old Dairy at Pierrepont Farm into a fully operational cheese dairy using milk from the farm just 200 metres and produces a wide variety of delicious cheeses.
Learn more about John's story, the story of Greyfriars Vineyard and a unique insight into the worlds of winemaking and cheesemaking, all whilst sampling three of our award-winning wines* alongside three of John's outstanding local cheeses.

*Please that note each of the three wines is served as an approx 50ml tasting serving, not a full glass.
Entry is £15 per person and the duration of the event is 60 minutes. Pre-booking is required.
