What to expect at our Surrey Hills Cheese and Wine Tasting:

Join us at our Cellar Door for the second of a series of special tastings we will be holding at Greyfriars in our Local Artisan Saturday Series.

We will be tasting our award-winning sparkling wines (including the new 2015 vintage of IWC Trophy-Winning Sparkling Rose Reserve) alongside the superb cheeses of Surrey's longest standing cheesemaker, Norbury Park Cheese Co.

Norbury Park Cheese Company is Neil and Michaela Allam, a husband and wife team like our very own Mike and Hilary Wagstaff, who have made a name for themselves in the Surrey Hills and produce some wonderful cheeses, including their flagship Norbury Blue and their decadently delicious Dirty Vicar soft cheese. Their cheeses are derived from their family closed herd of Friesian cows and have become noted in the Surrey Hills for its wonderfully distinct taste and flavour.

Learn more about Neil and Michaela's story, the story of Greyfriars Vineyard and gain a unique insight into the worlds of winemaking and cheesemaking, all whilst sampling three of our award-winning wines* alongside three of Neil and Michaela's outstanding local cheeses.

We look forward to seeing you there!

*Please that note each of the three wines is served as an approx 50ml tasting serving, not a full glass.

Entry is £15 per person and the duration of the event is 60 minutes. Pre-booking is required.

We strongly recommend viewing our Covid-19 Safety Information before booking and in advance of your visit, you can find this information on the following page of our website:
