These gnarly old vines produce small yields of what is consistently our most interesting Chardonnay. 2015
was a very challenging vintage in the UK and the fruit for this wine was picked on the 28th of October and
fermented and aged in old barriques. The wine was bottled in early September 2016 and has aged in our
cellars over six and a half years before release. We hope you enjoy drinking this wine as much as we have
making it.

The wine boasts a tantalising abundance of fresh green apple on the nose and palate, balanced by a
creamy mousse with a finish reminiscent of buttery pastries.

The wine was fermented and aged in used oak barrels prior to bottling. All the base wine went through full
malolactic fermentation.

It was bottled for secondary fermentation in early September 2016 and has matured on lees for over six
years.
