2025 Still Pinot Gris
Slight copper hue indicating 18 hours of skin contact and three months oak ageing on 12% of blend. The nose leads with notes of peach skins before developing into apricot compote. The pronounced stone fruit aromas and profile indicates a warmer vintage for English wine. The silky and lithe palate starts off with abundant soft peach flavours leading to orange peel notes and then lingering yellow plum on the long finish. The wine shows good weight/texture highlighting the use of skin contact and residual sugar, which is balanced by its fresh acidity. The wine is reminiscent of dry Alsatian style Pinot Gris and is a
great example of a varietal driven English still wine.
