Event Description:

Something fabulous for the summer! An event that’s bound to tickle your taste buds, we will be celebrating the height of summer in the spectacular Surrey Hills, all in the name of conservation.

First, you’ll be treated to a fascinating tour of the stunning vineyards – which will be at their best so close to harvest time. During the tour, you’ll discover exactly the process of turning grapes into award-winning English wine.

Having built up your thirst, it’s then time to quench it as you join a masterclass from our very own Mike Wagstaff, in their state-of-the-art tasting room. Don’t miss this opportunity to sample Greyfriars’ consecutive gold winning wines of 2022 and 2023, as awarded by Wine GB.

Then, it’s time to get wild! DSWF directly funds and supports 19 frontline projects in 17 countries, across 3 continents. We’ll be using this event to share the latest news from our conservation partners on the ground in Africa and Asia. Maybe you’ll learn about Mataya, the orphaned elephant calf who is being rehabilitated to rejoin wild herds in Zambia. Or how investigative work we fund is fighting to stop wildlife crime at international level.

A vegetarian/vegan antipasti selection will be served during the reception. We’ll also be tantalising your cultural taste buds, with a wonderful display of unique wildlife art, presented by our partner artists for this very special event.

TICKET AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds on our tour tickets/vouchers. If you do not show up for a tour without letting us know five working days in advance then we are unable to offer any exchange for an alternative tour date.  We may cancel the tour due to exceptionally low-enrolment, extreme inclement weather, Covid-19 restrictions, or any other circumstances which would make the event unviable. We would provide attendees with an alternative date in this case. If a member of your group is unable to attend, we would be happy to offer them an alternative date, provided we are given five working days notice of their absence. We reserve the right to postpone/amend the start time of tours as required.
