What is Vineyards of the Surrey Hills (VOSH)?

Greyfriars Vineyard is a member of VOSH, a partnership between the cluster of beautiful vineyards found within Surrey Hills who excel in producing outstanding wines from the rolling North Downs, in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Nurtured on the chalky lime and sandstone hills with the same geology as that of the Champagne region, our vineyards have a unique location in the heart of Surrey. We represent the very pinnacle of quality in the increasingly-successful English wine industry, having won top international awards for our wines and wine tourism.  Each vineyard has its own unique offerings, with a variety of tours and experiences.  Look at our map to see how close we are to each other.

What to expect at our Summer Spectacular at our Monkshatch Winery:

Our award-winning members invite you to visit our Monkshatch Winery site and delight in the views and wines. Join us in what is sure to be a fantastic afternoon full of summer fun. 

The Tasting Masterclasses are hosted by our very own Mike Wagstaff where you will have the opportunity to taste six wines from various VOSH members.

Other highlights include jazz and swing band, Jazz and The Tonics, performing throughout the day.

Towpath Kitchen will also be popping up to serve some gorgeous arancini and delicious snacks while our own horsebox bar will be open where you can buy wine by the glass or bottle to enjoy in the amphitheatre above our chalk cave.

Entry with Vineyards of the Surrey Hills Tasting Masterclass: Cost £35 per person, please make sure you choose your desired time slot.

TICKET AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds on tickets for this event.  We may cancel the event due to exceptionally low-enrolment, extreme inclement weather,  or any other circumstances which would make the event unviable. We reserve the right to postpone/amend the start time of the event as required.
