SHIPPING & RETURNS

DELIVERY POLICY

We use two excellent courier companies, "Wey Group/APC Overnight" and "Thirsty Hare" to deliver orders. Typically the couriers will require a signature/someone to be in at home on delivery, if you are unlikely to be home you might prefer to use your work address. Alternatively, you might be left a delivery card or sent a attempted delivery notification leading to possible delays or, in the worst case, having to collect from your nearest depot. In the unlikely event that delivery is delayed, due to no fault of our own, we can not accept responsibility. We offer a two to four working days delivery in England, Wales, Scotland and five to seven working days in Northern Ireland from the date of despatch. 

Our delivery charge is £12 per order. We currently offer a free delivery on all orders of £45 or over.

Collection - We offer a free collection service at the cellar door. Select at checkout.

REFUND, RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Claims / Refunds

Claims for breakages, or other damage must be made to the carrier at time of receipt and followed up in writing or by email to Greyfriars Vineyard Ltd within three days of receipt. 

If you believe there is a fault with the wine then please contact us directly via email (info@greyfriarsvineyard.co.uk)  or telephone (01483 813 712) and we will arrange a replacement if necessary after we have discussed the issues you are experiencing with the wine with you. 

We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds on orders if we have not been notified within this time period.

 

We operate a policy for cancellation to allow you a cooling off period after placing your order. In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000) you may cancel your order at any time without reason within 7 working days of delivery.

You may cancel your order, for any reason provided: -

You, or the recipient notifies us of your cancellation in writing/ e-mail to the address on our "contact us" page within seven working days of delivery.

The goods remain unused and the packages or boxes remain unopened. You or the recipient retain and take reasonable care of the goods until you return them.

You return packaged item(s) to Returns at Greyfriars Vineyard Ltd to the address on the "contact us" page.

Please be aware that you will be liable for the original and any postage/carrier costs incurred as a result of returning items to Greyfriars Vineyard  LTD and you should ensure that you obtain proof of postage as you send it back. A refund can only be provided for items received back by us in perfect condition.

 

If you make any input errors during the placing of your order you will be given the opportunity to check that your details are accurate before you submit your details. It is your responsibility to check that your order is accurate and to supply all relevant information accurately which is necessary to complete the order requested.

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted.


Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order page at the ‘Checkout’.
